Much better than the screw-on top of the everyday bottles! I wish the 1L bottles with that top came in more colors. I have used two bottles with the pop tops for years now and they have never ever created any issue.

The lock-top failed after less than a month of use: First, the security-pin of the lock top fell off and even though I could still close the lid, I couldn’t lock it, and the bottle opened easily (e.g. placing it on the passenger seat of my car) which resulted in a bunch of spills. Then, the little wheel of the lock-top broke off and I couldn’t close the lid anymore – open bottle at all times, very inconvenient for transporting it. I’m very disappointed in this lid and will change to a different top because I still like that the bottom part of the bottle is so sturdy. My husband bought his wide-mouth bottle years ago and is 100% satisfied with it.
