It is an exact replacement part so of course it works perfectly. Installation was easy, just press the lid’s strap ring down working it around the flange on the bottle’s neck, and done! This part can be found on other websites for slightly cheaper if you are an extreme tight ass.

The cap to my nalgene broke. This cap is not designed to lift the water bottle when full ( how mine broke ) I have only had this water bottle for half of a year and am sad that it’s already damaged.

The only reason I need to replace the lid for my small mouth Water bottle is cause i was a dope and it got damaged in the dishwasher. I have had this water bottle and 2 others for over 20 years. Best bottles I’ve ever owned.
